About this test
A strategy nobody can repeat in one sentence isn’t a strategy yet.
The all-hands slide your team nodded at and nobody could explain the next day.
Strategy Translator is a free self-test from Coach42 for managers of managers. You answer 12 questions, from 1 (never) to 5 (always), on saying the strategy in one sentence, linking team goals to it, repeating it and checking it landed. You get a clarity score out of 100 and the two places it gets lost, each with a fix.
